The Law Offices of Nancy S. Niederman offers over three decades of high-profile, complex theatrical motion picture production experience. As a senior executive at Twentieth Century Fox for 20 years, Ms. Niederman served as the legal executive on numerous films including the international blockbuster "Avatar," Ridley Scott's "Prometheus," "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" and the family favorites "Alvin and the Chipmunks" (1, 2 and 3), "Garfield" and all three "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" films. She was also in charge of legal matters relating to various overall production deals, including those with James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment and Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions.
Ms. Niederman began her career in 1980 in the Beverly Hills entertainment firm of Kaplan, Livingston, Goodwin, Berkowitz & Selvin and segued into Columbia Pictures where she served as Senior Counsel in the motion picture division. In 1986, she moved to MGM/UA where, as the head of the studio's legal department, she was in charge of all theatrical, television and video production legal matters for the company. Motion pictures produced by MGM/UA during her tenure include "Rain Man," "A Fish Called Wanda," "Rocky" (IV and V) and "Moonstruck."
